Agro Trend Field Days The Rotary Club of Bundaberg extends an invitation to all organisations associated with rural and primary industry to participate in Agro-Trend 2010.
For three days in May, they offer the opportunity to promote products and services to a dedicated agricultural and horticultural audience drawn principally from the Wide-Bay Burnett, but also to visitors from around the nation and overseas.

Bundaberg Early Holden Club Incorporated-All Holden Day The Bundaberg Early Holden Club Incorporated will be holding their annual All Holden Day and the public are invited to enter their Holden vehicles for judging. Any vehicle is welcome to be put on display for a small cost. There will be entertainment throughout the day, as well as food vans and other stalls. Entrants must be on the grounds before 8:00a.m. as judging will commence at that time. Public gates open at 8:30a.m. Presentations will take place at 2.00 p.m. sharp. A donation to the Bundaberg Renal Unit will be made from proceeds of the day.

Bundaberg Veterans Cricket Club Eight-A-Side Carnival Bundaberg Veterans Cricket Club-8-A-Side Carnival is on once again. It is for veteran teams over the age of 40 years. It will be held over the May Day weekend with each team playing at least four games with a format of 14 overs bowled per side and each game takes approximately two hours.

Bundaberg Weekender Chess Tournament The Bundaberg Weekender Chess Tournament is one of the premier Chess Tournament events in Queensland and is registered with the Chess Association of Queensland Incorporated. Players from all over Queensland and Northern New South Wales will be attending.

Lawn Bowls Past Presidents National Friendship Carnival The Lawn Bowls Past Presidents 19th. National Friendship Carnival is an Australia wide biennial competition. The venue rotates around Australia and 2010 is Queensland’s turn, with Bundaberg chosen to host the event from 14 to 20 April.

National Australian Poetry Championships Bundaberg Poets’ Society will host the National Australian Poetry Championships in July at the Brothers Sports Club. This will be a full weekend of entertainment with competitions being held during the day on the Friday and Saturday and up until lunchtime on the Sunday. There will be a Walk-Up Poetry Concert on the Friday evening and the very entertaining concert on Saturday night with three of Australia’s best poets as special guests.
